Zorgfontein Game Farm is particularly proud of its farming environment.

Our main goal is the breeding and protecting of various game and antelope species. The quality of the cape riding horse meets our requirements for working horses on the farm and with selective breeding, we keep only the best of these hardy animals at Zorgfontein.

The farm is situated just off the N2, in Groot Brak /Great Brak River and only 20 minutes from George Airport.

Game farming is our passion, and being in the industry for many years, it is our pleasure to give guests an insight in how we work daily on our farm.

We not only focus on agri-tourism and run a passionate lion project. We also carry out horse back fence surveillance, take a keen and active role in the nutritional welfare of our animals and run a world class training program.
Our Catwalk (walk with the lions) is one of the pleasures we like to share with guests. Lions are one of South Africa's most majestic predators and one of the famous Big 5 animals in the world. We raised the cubs and give them, on a daily basis, the opportunity to experience the wild and pleasure of the farm.

Zorgfontein is also proudly home to a number of animals such as red and black impala, giraffe, kudu, eland, waterbuck, zebra, springbuck, blue wildebeest, buffalo and bontebok.

On a typical day at the farm, apart from the animals, you can expect to see the outskirts of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains as well as a beautiful landscape that is made up of breathtaking green hills.
